oh, what a lovely term…

…Right. But it hasn’t been THAT crappy either, no worries. =) I’ve a feeling that this post wouldn’t be THAT up to par with my own standards, but YM.net needs love now.
So. I survive my first term at Queen’s College, and am prepping myself for the next one. This time, I won’t be able to go home during the half term as it’s only a week long (it’s a bit too expensive to jet back then, no?) – which leaves me with my guardians at Torquay, Devon. Now I’ve NEVER met them; but Chidge (Hannah Chidgey, my clarinetist-buddy) claims Torquay’s a lush place as it’s by the seaside. And to quote that old poem title which was made into a song for Oh What A Lovely War, “I do like to be beside the seaside…” =P (I guess this is something only English will get. xD)
So, what’s this “Oh What A Lovely War” business I’m talking about? Well, it’s the name of the senior school’s (Years 10-13) MAJOR annual theatre production – in the past, they’ve done stuff like A Comedy of Errors (Shakespeare) and Wind in the Willows (for the lower school; meaning Years 7-9.) So this year, Mr Evans – who’s the head of the Drama department and also my GCSE Drama teacher, decided we’d do a war-based play. And a satirical one in fact. =)

I should blog more! Then again, all the entries I type are so long. Bleh.
Well, Chinese New Year doesn’t leave me much to say, so I shall talk about something else. BLEACH! Ah, it’s my cousin who downloaded it – and that’s after his pals recommended it to him. I only watched a few eps, but one prefect from my school (Sarven!), another Bleach freak, has burned all the eps into DVDs. He offered to loan them to me…*dance dance* I’m happy! xD
But what does Bleach have to do with design? Er…how about this? My visitors from Winter Skies should know about it – it’s a template that I designed, but I didn’t know what to do with it.
So I consulted *cough*my dad*cough*. Here’s how it went…
Dad: I think you should try coding it first. Then, take a screencap of it…and then, put it up for sale as a custom premade. If anyone wants it, they pay maybe around $15 or so for you to customise the link images, banner and all. If they want the PSD, they pay more.
Me: Wha? Premades that people have to pay for?
Dad: Well, they want it customised, they pay. Simple as that. Because that part’s tailored for their site…
Me: Ah, okay.

So, yes. After I code it, I will sell it…but who would buy something like that? xD Maybe an anime media site? I dunno. xP I love it, though. Still, if I were to put it up for download on Winter Skies for free…it would be hard to customise. So there. ^^ Thank goodness my dad has a Paypal account for me to use. xD
Okay. End of Bleach talk and design talk. Which means, end of randomness for the time being. I promise I’ll try to blog more often…but well, I’m busy. xD
